Precautions regarding the use of nearby facilities, such as Komuroyama Park

Unlike other Seminar Houses of Waseda University, Izukawana Seminar House is located in a section of a holiday home area.

Due to this, there are many local residents living near the Seminar House. When you use nearby facilities, such as Komuroyama Park, strictly refrain from behaviors that would cause problems to residents and act with austerity as university students. Also check the following items.

  • Refrain from going out past 8:00 pm as much as you can. If you must go out for any reason, be sure to obtain the approval of the manager in advance and follow the instructions of the manager.
  • Actions that would cause problems to the local residents, such as “fireworks” and “tests of courage” in Komuroyama Park, shall be strictly prohibited.

(These actions are also prohibited by the park.)

  • Even on the Seminar House premises, refrain from causing any nuisance, such as talking loudly with the windows open.

We may deny the use of the Seminar House in the future if a group does not follow these rules.

We ask for everyone’s cooperation so that not only the users of the Seminar House but also the local residents can spend their time here in comfort.
