The Center for Multiscale Analysis, Modelling and Simulation and the Center for Positive\/Empirical Analysis of Political Economy held an online workshop, “Science of Innovation and Success Workshop,”<\/a> on August 2-3, 2021. In this workshop, social scientists and researchers with STEM backgrounds working on various aspects of innovation<\/em> and success<\/em> gave us lectures on a wide range of topics, including research results, future topics, and possible collaborations across disciplines. The online workshop ended up seeing 127 people participate from 20 countries.<\/p>\n

During the workshop, lecturers introduced various research results on quantitative analysis of scientific paper citations, human decision making and evolutionary dynamics, industrial policy and innovation, diversity in collaborative research and so on. In the panel discussion, the lecturers and participants enjoyed lively discussions.<\/p>\n

The Center for Multiscale Analysis, Modelling and Simulation and the Center for Positive\/Empirical Analysis of Political Economy will continue to actively organize international workshops and promote exchanges between researchers and students.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
