Dr. Zsolt and Dr. Suzuki, Dr. Zsolt&#8217;s partner at Waseda University, co-facilitated the live session and invited several guests to the course, same as last time. The participants shared the latest research activities and COVID-19-related issues of each other&#8217;s countries. \u00a0Dr. Zsolt ensured opportunities for every student to share their opinions and ask questions throughout the session. The researchers in Dr. Zsolt and Dr. Suzuki&#8217;s laboratory gave presentations of supporting data and academic papers related to Waseda students\u2019 research themes. This is a very meaningful winter intensive lecture was not only learning research interest and improving English skills. After all class is finished, students were provided with homework to report on topics of interest for this course. The present course is going to focus on this, emphasizing the role of acute and regular exercise, aging, and organ specificity, especially skeletal muscle and brain.
