{"id":4068,"date":"2018-10-15T17:45:31","date_gmt":"2018-10-15T08:45:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/inst\/sgu\/?p=4068"},"modified":"2018-10-15T17:46:58","modified_gmt":"2018-10-15T08:46:58","slug":"jilin-korea-waseda-alliance-symposium","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/inst\/sgu\/news-en\/2018\/10\/15\/4068\/","title":{"rendered":"Jilin-Korea-Waseda Alliance Symposium"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Unit for Energy and Nanomaterials organized an alliance symposium with Jilin University, China, and Korea University, Korea.<\/p>\n<p>Each university is highly ranked in QS World University Rankings by Subject; Korea University ranked in 43th in the Engineering-Chemical subject, and Jilin University in 100-150th in Chemistry. The unit collaborated with these universities and discussed topics about not only material sciences and electrochemistry, but also\u00a0biochemistry and life sciences at the symposium to find a possibility for joint research.<\/p>\n<p>The alliance symposium\u00a0 originally started as the Korea-Waseda joint event by the project, the Global COE Program&#8217;s Practical Chemical Wisdom. The membership enlarged when Jilin University, which Korea University had been in collaboration with, joined.
