This event was organized by <strong>CIME<\/strong> (Centro Internazionale Matematico Estivo: International Mathematical Summer Center) and partly supported by the Mathematics and Physics Unit, &#8220;Multiscale Analysis, Modeling and Simulation&#8221;, Top Global University Project, Waseda University.<\/p>\n<p>The summer school gathered around 40 participants from all over the world and exciting lectures were performed by the four celebrated researchers of the Navier-Stokes equations: Prof. G. P. Galdi (Univ. Pittsburgh), Prof. M. Hieber (TU Darmstadt and Waseda Uni.), Prof. H. Kozono (Waseda Univ.), Prof. J. Robinson (Univ. Warwick).
