On July 27, Dr. Aaron Miller from California State University, East Bay visited Waseda\u2019 s Higashifushimi Campus to lecture on American college sports and its history, present situation, and issues from a cultural anthropological perspective. This lecture was organized by the Health and Sport Sciences model unit of the Top Global University Project.<\/p>\n

The lecture was small and close-knit. Approximately 15 students and faculty within and outside Waseda participated, and they were able to deepen their understanding on the differences of college sports in Japan and the United States through fruitful discussions.<\/p>\n
