Waseda Professors Yoshimichi Ohki, Hiroyuki Nishide, and Hideo Ishii from the Faculty of Science and Engineering attended the workshop. Both universities presented their latest research and engaged in an interactive discussion. Presentation topics included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cOrganic-based Soft Batteries&#8221;<br \/>\nProfessor Hiroyuki NISHIDE, Waseda University<\/li>\n<li>\u201cProgress in Power Electronics\u201d<br \/>\nProfessor Yang XU, Xi\u2019an Jiaotong University<\/li>\n<li>\u201cIon-induced Changes in Refractive Index and Structure of Solid Dielectrics and Their Applications\u201d<br \/>\nProfessor Yoshimichi OHKI, Waseda University<\/li>\n<li>\u201cAtomic-Layer-Deposition Nano-Glue to Protect Sn Anodes for Sodium Ion Batteries&#8221;<br \/>\nProfessor Han XIAOGANG, Xi\u2019an Jiaotong University<\/li>\n<li>\u201cDemand Response, PV Control and Energy Resource Aggregation \u2013 Current Trend and Activities in Japan&#8221;<br \/>\nProfessor Hideo ISHII, Waseda University<\/li>\n<li>\u201cFault Detection, Isolation, and Restoration in Distribution Network with DES integration&#8221;<br \/>\nProfessor Jiao ZAIBIN, Xi\u2019an Jiaotong University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The workshop was a great success, especially for participating students and junior researchers from the perspective that it provided an opportunity for professional development.
