{"id":3395,"date":"2018-12-25T18:35:50","date_gmt":"2018-12-25T09:35:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/inst\/rlc\/?p=3395"},"modified":"2019-01-10T20:57:33","modified_gmt":"2019-01-10T11:57:33","slug":"%e3%80%90for-students-entering-the-dormitory-in-april-2019%e3%80%91rule-changes-of-application-for-wid-dormy-in-application-period-3-and-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/inst\/rlc\/news-en\/2018\/12\/25\/3395\/","title":{"rendered":"\u3010For Students Entering the Dormitory in April 2019\u3011Rule changes of application for WID\/Dormy in application period 3 or 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">For the applicants who apply for WID\/Dormy AS A FIRST CHOICE in application period 3 or 4, we change the rules as follows.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">[Period 3 (January 11, 2019 &#8211; January 25, 2019)]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">&lt;Current rule&gt;<br \/>\nStudents who have passed the entrance exam are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">accepted on a first come, first served basis<\/span> for any dormitory in which they wish to stay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">&lt;After the revision&gt;<br \/>\nFor students who have passed the entrance exam, after the application deadline <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">lots will be drawn to assign students to the dormitories of their choice<\/span>.<br \/>\n[Note 1] However, for dormitories where a sufficient number of rooms has been secured beforehand, rooms may be allotted before the application deadline. Please be assured that in terms of securing a dorm room, this system does not pose any disadvantage for undergraduate enrollees whose entrance examination results are announced later.<br \/>\n[Note 2] If you applied for Waseda University Student Dormitories (WISH, Higashi-Fushimi Student Dormitory or Ichishima Kinen Sendagi Dormitory) as a first choice and applied for WID\/Dormy after second choice, drawing lots will be conducted after the result announcement of Waseda University Student Dormitories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">[Period 4 (February 18, 2019 &#8211; March 4, 2019)]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">&lt;Current rule&gt;<br \/>\nStudents who have passed the entrance exam are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">accepted on a first come, first served basis<\/span> for any dormitory in which they wish to stay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">&lt;After the revision&gt;<br \/>\n<\/span>For students who have passed the entrance exam, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">after the application deadline lots will be drawn to assign students to the dormitories of their choice,<\/span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">except WID Waseda.
