Ichishima Kinen Sendagi Student Dormitory

[Important Note] This dormitory will be closed in March 2020.

Ichishima Kinen Sendagi Student Dormitory, a small-sized, 3-story women’s dormitory under the direct operation of Waseda University, was built in 2002 on the land donated by the Late Shin Ichijima who was a Distinguished Donor of Waseda University and a descendant of Kenkichi Ichijima, the first Director of Waseda University Library. There are 11 studio-style rooms securing the residents’ privacy. An experienced live-in Caretaker and a RA warmly help the residents in need.

Contract Period

1 year for April 2019 admissions
[Note] New students admitted in September 2019 are not eligible to apply for this dormitory.

  • No early termination of the contract allowed with exception of those who must do so due to going to study abroad.
  • No contract renewal allowed.

Major Rules and Regulations of Ichishima Kinen Sendagi Student Dormitory

  1. Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited.
  2. Visitors (Female Only) between 9 a.m. ~10 p.m..
  3. Residents are not permitted to have visitors, including parents, siblings, and friends, stay after 10pm or to stay overnight.
  4. Curfew: 12 a.m. midnight
