On behalf of the Qatar Chair in Waseda University and the Japanese Institute of Middle Eastern Economies-Institute of Energy Economics in Japan (JIME-IEEJ), we are pleased to anounce about the upcoming\u00a0Qatar Chair\u00a0<\/span>Distinguished Speaker Lecture on \u201cDevelopment, Growth and Policy Reform in the Middle East\u201d.<\/p>\n

The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Tarik Yousef, the Director of The Middle East Council on Global Affairs\u00a0(Doha)<\/span>, and moderated by Prof. Shuji Hosaka, the Director of JIME-IEEJ, to be\u00a0<\/span>followed by a Q&A session.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The lecture aims to provide insightful analysis\u00a0on<\/span>\u00a0recent economic developments, growth prospects, and policy reforms in the Middle East, and their implications for the region\u2019s integration into the global economy. Dr. Yousef, a renowned expert in the field of Middle Eastern economics, will share his extensive knowledge and experience on the subject.<\/p>\n

The lecture will be held in Diamond room, Keidanren Kaikan, 1-3-2, Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 100-8188 from 10 am \u2013 12 pm on the 1st of March, 2023.<\/p>\n
