Those making the proposals are highly evaluated in international terms, having to date developed the Environmental Load Point (ELP) method as a unique integrated index of the environmental burden which applies the panel (questionnaire) method, and the Eco-Efficiency Potential Assessment (E2-PA) as a method of evaluating environmental utility potential, which introduces the concept of environmental efficiency. Through working to increase the sophistication of such methods, methods will be developed with the potential to present objective and quantitative indices, to be used when considering the improvement and establishment of new resource recycling systems. A key point in this is the question of whether values regarding rare resources which are undergoing change in line with the times, and (with growing international interest in a low-carbon society) aspects such as international differences in awareness regarding resource recycling systems, are reflected in the evaluation.

Study regarding information-sharing/co-creation systems as part of resource recycling systems: When establishing new resource recycling systems, it is essential to work to resolve issues in terms of technology (including constraints and requirements on the introduction of systems and technology suited to each region, and the efficient utilization of existing infrastructure), and issues in terms of regional characteristics and government policy etc. This study will work to systematize the co-creational nature of the development of social systems/technologies (including the glinking technologiesh which refers to efficient partnerships with existing infrastructure) and information-sharing which must exist between the discharge side and the acceptance side of recycled resources, and to universalize player analysis-based and modeling-based methodologies when establishing new recycling systems.

Study regarding safe, reassuring systems in resource recycling using advanced ICT: In order to realize safe, reassuring resource recycling, it is crucial to establish traceability systems which are the core of mainline logistical management and to establish safety design/operating management systems to ensure safety and reassurance. This study aims to establish systems as part of the proactive utilization of advanced ICT for realizing safety and reassurance. Specifically, the study will undertake the development to realize traceability systems using RFID tags, GPS etc., and risk management methods using databases of accidents, breakdowns and near-miss incidents, as well as operating management systems, and operator education support systems etc., using VR technology.

Having achieved the above objectives within the study period, the final objective of the study is to generate platforms for promoting the popularization of its results.

Researchers

Katsuya NAGATA (Professor, Faculty of Science and Engineering)
Masafumi KATSUTA (Professor, Faculty of Science and Engineering)
Shuji OWADA (Professor, Faculty of Science and Engineering)
Yasuhiro DAISHO (Professor, Faculty of Science and Engineering)
Tadashi OTSUKA (Professor, Faculty of Law)
Hiroshi ONODA (Visiting Associate Professor(full-time), Environmental Research Institute)
Tetsushige NISHIO (Professor, Graduate School of Environment and Energy Engineering)

Adjunct Researcher

Yuji NAGAI (Researcher/Deputy Director, Research Coordination Department, Waseda Research Institute Corporation)
Akio USHIYAMA (JFE KANKYO Corporation)
Satoshi INOUE (Director, Planning and Coordination Department of Environment and Plant Sector, IHI Corporation)
Yukio KITAMURA (Mitsubishi heavy industries mechatronics systems corporation East Japan branch Chief examiner )
Hiroshi KAMIKAWAZI (Consolidated company reverse System Research Institute representative partner)
HAO HU (Waseda international environmental limited company representative director )
Mitsuyoshi NAKAMURA (Nakamura construction incorporated company representative director )
Hisanori MORIMOTO (Sanwa construction incorporated company representative director president )

Concluded Laboratory 2014/03/31 Director : Katsuya NAGATA Professor,Faculty of Science and Engineering Researc […]

[97

post-350","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-other-en
["GET
