The lessons are then given at local Japanese elementary, junior, and senior high schools to help foster intercultural understanding among school students.<\/p>\n<p>Details of the program will be explained by the ICC at an orientation.<br \/>\nAfterward, you and your partner will meet and work together to prepare the lesson plan until the day of the school visit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"ICC Outreach Program Video\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UwWr4CpxtYg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h5>School<\/h5>\n<p>Waseda-jitsugyo Elementary School (Kokubunji, Tokyo)<\/p>\n<h5>Date &amp; Time<\/h5>\n<p>July 3 (Wed) 8:30am &#8211; 12:15pm<br \/>\n*Meeting time and place: 8:10am @ Kokubunji Station (JR Chuo-Line)<\/p>\n<h5>Class<\/h5>\n<p>3rd and 4th grade elementary school students (teaching the same lesson in two different classes, about 35 students in each class)<\/p>\n<h5>Content<\/h5>\n<p>Introduce your country and culture (Create and practice a lesson plan together with your partner, then carry it out at the school)<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Waseda Students who are able to participate in all the meetings and the actual school visit and perform required duties<\/p>\n<h5>Capacity<\/h5>\n<p>3 Japanese students, 3 international students<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Application<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Register on <a href=\"https:\/\/my.waseda.jp\/application\/detail\/application-detail?communityContentLinkId=253192799\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Application Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Deadline<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>June 17 (Mon), 9:00am, results announced on the same day *Be sure to check your email throughout the day on this date if you apply.<\/p>\n<h5>Schedule<\/h5>\n<p>Jun. 19 (Wed), 12:20-12:50pm. Orientation @ Classroom 3-301 (3F, Bldg. 3).<br \/>\nJun. 26 (Wed) 12:20-12:50pm.
