It is also well known as a language that is read from right to left. However, not only that, Arabic itself is a language that has a very expressive literature as well as artistic aspects that is reflected through Arabic calligraphy.<\/p>\n<p>Written using bamboo brush that creates a delicate design within every stroke, Arabic calligraphy is considered as an important part of Islamic art. Arabic calligraphy is often seen adorning the walls of mosques with its beautiful flow of characters and peculiar details in between characters.<\/p>\n<p>This time, ICC will hold an event to introduce Arabian culture through Arabic calligraphy.<br \/>\nIn this event, you can get to know more about Arabic calligraphy directly from an expert; the Secretary General of Japan Arabic Calligraphy Association, Mr. Yamaoka Koichi, who will be giving a lecture explaining all about the beauty of Arabic Calligraphy.<\/p>\n<p>After the lecture we&#8217;ll also be holding a workshop where you can try writing your own name and\/or other things in Arabic calligraphy. Unlike the Japanese calligraphy, through the Arabic calligraphy, you can design it the way you want with your artistic taste. You can take home your calligraphy and put it in a frame to decorate your wall and of course post it on your social media!<br \/>\nExpand your horizons and enjoy seeing a whole new world through Arabic calligraphy. Graduated from the Arabic language department of Osaka University of Foreign Studies (currently known as Osaka University) in 1976 then joined a trading company and stayed in Saudi Arabia for 4 years.
