Tokyo was formed and has rapidly developed since the Edo period over 400 years ago, through Japan’s westernization during the Meiji Restoration, Earthquake, War and afterwards into the city we see today which is still evolving even now.<\/p>\n

On this ICC field trip to the Edo-Tokyo Museum, we will learn about the hidden charms and the formation of Tokyo through a special ICC game.
\nAt the Edo-Tokyo Museum, you can see recreations of old Edo in elaborate miniature displays and countless dynamic models that allow you to have fun learning how people lived in the olden days.<\/p>\n

As well as that, the ICC has created its own original mission sheets with missions for you to enjoy clearing together in groups while touring the museum.<\/p>\n

The Edo-Tokyo Museum is located in Ryogoku, which even in Edo was an area particularly crowded with common people. It is a place with many restaurants like sushi, tempura and wagashi alongside the traditions and culture of the Edo period.
\nAfter the trip finishes, feel free to take a walk around this historic area with the new friends you’ve made!<\/p>\n
