Are you prejudiced against others?
\nHow many of you can answer right away “Yes, I am”?
\nIn general, it is easy for people to think that they can judge others sensibly and objectively, but in reality, many research results have shown that in fact people do often pre-judge others.<\/p>\n

The Human Library is a library that lends out “people”. People who are susceptible to discrimination and prejudice in society become “books”, and they interact with “readers” who become listeners.
\nThis type of “library” has spread to over 70 countries throughout the world.<\/p>\n

At our Human Library, we have prepared approximately 30 “books”. Each diverse and unique “book” has its own rich life story that can only be told by each individual themselves.<\/p>\n

By directly speaking with the “books” in an open-minded atmosphere, you may notice that your impression of the “cover” was actually a product of prejudice.
\nThis is a chance to broaden your horizons and look past the common stereotypes prevalent in society.<\/p>\n
