Do you like interacting with children? Would you like to visit a Japanese elementary school for a day? How about having lunch with the kids and joining in their school activities? Then sign up now!<\/p>\n

For this program Waseda students will get to spend a day chatting in English with pupils at a Waseda affiliated elementary school.<\/p>\n

No Japanese language skills are needed and no advance preparation is required! Just enjoy chatting with the kids!<\/p>\n

The program is a great opportunity to see what Japanese school life is like and is ideal for those interested in cross-cultural education, volunteering and exchanging with Japanese pupils.<\/p>\n

Wasedajitsugyo Elementary School (Kokubunji, Tokyo. 10 minute walk from Kokubunji Station)<\/p>\n

6th grade elementary school students<\/p>\n

“Kokubunji Orienteering”
\nGo to various points around Kokubunji and communicate with students in simple English!<\/p>\n

9 international students (A lottery will be held if applicants exceed the capacity)<\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/h5>\n

All Waseda students who can speak English (Native level fluency is NOT required)<\/p>\n

*ICC staff will not accompany participants to this event.
\n*Transportation expenses will be provided by the school.
\n*Although this is a volunteer program, participants will be a part of a class at a scheduled time in an actual school, and so dropping out of the program or being late is not acceptable.<\/p>\n
