Do you like interacting with children?
\nWould you like to visit a Japanese elementary school for a day?
\nHow about having lunch with kids and joining in their school activities?
\nThen sign up now!<\/p>\n

For this program Waseda students will get to spend a day chatting in English with pupils at a Waseda affiliated elementary school.
\nNo Japanese language skills are needed and no advance preparation is required! Just enjoy chatting with the kids!<\/p>\n

The program is a great opportunity to see what Japanese school life is like and is ideal for those interested in cross-cultural education, volunteering and exchanging with Japanese pupils. Places on this program are limited so sign up today!<\/p>\n

“Manga in English”
\nTalking to kids in simple English about Manga and various expressions from various countries.<\/p>\n

12 students (6 international students & 6 Japanese students)
\n(A lottery will be held if applicants exceed the capacity)<\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/h5>\n

All Waseda students who can speak English (Native level fluency is NOT required).<\/p>\n

*ICC staff will not accompany participants on to this event.
\n*Transportation expenses will be provided by the school.
\n*Although this is a volunteer program, participants will be a part of a class at scheduled time for a school, and so dropping out of the program or being late is not acceptable.<\/p>\n
