The highly popular ICC Karaoke Contest is back again!<\/p>\n

This year’s Grand Finale will feature the winner of the 2013 Karaoke World Championship in Finland and current Waseda staff member, Mr. Teruhisa Tanaka, as a judge and guest singer.<\/p>\n

Let’s bring the Waseda community together through music and song!<\/p>\n

\nDirector of the Waseda University International Community Center (ICC)<\/p>\n

Mr. Teruhisa Tanaka<\/p>\n

Waseda University Staff Member, 2013 Karaoke World Championship Winner. Began working at Waseda University after graduating from Waseda’s School of Political Science and Economics in 2002. Previously worked in the International Division and then School of International Liberal Studies and now works in the Secretariat of the Office of the President.<\/p>\n

After his success on NHK’s “Nodo Jiman” TV show as a Waseda student he went on to appear in several national karaoke competitions.
\nIn 2003 he received an award from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in a national competition.
\nHe then won first prize in the Karaoke World Championships men’s category in 2013 (Performance Video<\/a>).
\nIn 2014 he released his debut single “Sakurahorohoro<\/a>” with Nippon Crown Co. Ltd.<\/p>\n

The champion will receive:
\n1) JTB Travel Voucher for 30,000 yen (Sponsor: JTB Corporation Corporate Sales)
