\u25c6I<\/span>kebana<\/span> Workshop: Try your hand at the Japanese art of flower arrangement\"\u751f\u3051\u82b1\"<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Poster<\/a><\/p>\n

Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of arranging flowers for display. For this Ikebana event, a teacher from the ikebana school\u00a0– Sogetu School – will give an ikebana demonstration followed\u00a0by an ikebana workshop, where you can try making your own display.
\nAfter the workshop, you’ll be able to take the flowers with you as\u00a0souvenirs that you can enjoy in your home! This is a great chance to\u00a0see up close the skill of a ikebana teacher and receive instruction\u00a0from her directly.<\/p>\n

\u25c6Traditional Japanese Music & Dance<\/span>: Listen to music performaces, join a dance workshop & try on a kimono!\"\u65e5\u672c\u821e\u8e0a\"<\/a><\/span><\/h2>\n

Poster<\/a><\/p>\n

Members of the Waseda Chikuyukai will perform Japanese music on instruments like the Koto and Shamisen. Afterwards there’ll be a Japanese dance workshop by Hanayagi Yoshijiro VI, a 22 year old e-school student at the Faculty of Human Sciences and a member of the Hanayagi School of Japanese Dance. You can even try wearing a traditional kimono. Don’t miss it! You’ll have the chance to dance on stage at Okuma Auditorium on Oct. 23rd \uff08Fri\uff09!<\/p>\n
