And that’s not all! For this Outreach we’ll be taking a Field Trip\u00a0to Waseda Setsuryo Junior & Senior High School in OSAKA!
\nThe program finishes in Osaka and since its summer break\u00a0you are free to sightsee in Kyoto or Osaka!<\/p>\n
The ICC Outreach Program pairs Japanese and international students\u00a0to work together to create a lesson plan for a class meant to promote\u00a0cross-cultural understanding. The lessons are given at local Japanese\u00a0elementary, junior, and senior high schools. ICC staff will explain\u00a0in detail about how to create lesson plans at the orientation,\u00a0and you will be preparing for it together with your partner.<\/p>\n

\u25c6Outreach Program Introduction Video<\/a>\u25c6<\/p>\n Poster<\/a><\/p>\n <\/strong>Waseda Setsuryo Junior High School, High School (Ibaraki City, Osaka)<\/a><\/p>\n September 18th (Fri) to 19th (Sat), 2015 <1 night, 2 days><\/p>\n <\/strong>Sept. 18 (Fri) \u3000Afternonn: Depart Tokyo. Stay in Dorm. <\/strong>2nd grade high school & 3rd grade junior high students,\u00a0between 20-30 students per class.<\/p>\n <\/strong>Introduce your country and culture (100min.) Waseda Students who can attend the meetings & school visit.<\/p>\n <\/strong>24 students<\/p>\n The school will provide a one-way shinkansen ticket to Osaka\u00a0from Tokyo Station, 1 night’s accommodation at student dorm\u00a0and dinner on 9\/18, and breakfast and lunch on 9\/19.<\/p>\n Transportation costs and arrangements back to Tokyo are entirely\u00a0the responsibility of the participant.
