But how can Japan overcome\u00a0cultural barriers and showcase its charm to these new visitors?<\/p>\n<p>Of course increasing the number of tourists also has implications for\u00a0long term foreign residents as well as those wishing to immigrate to Japan\u00a0and it is impossible to envision a future for Japanese society without\u00a0discussing these important issues.<\/p>\n<p>Since Waseda does not have a medical or dental department, this is a\u00a0unique opportunity for Waseda students to hold English discussions with\u00a0medical students, including short term exchange students from The University\u00a0of Western Australia.
