In 2013,\u00a0central Asia&#8217;s largest theater was completed in the Kazakh capital\u00a0of Astana and will surely elevate the ballet&#8217;s status even further.<br \/>\nAlthough focusing on ballet, students also study various ethnic styles\u00a0and the school has won several national prizes for its superior dancers.<\/p>\n<p>This May, we&#8217;ve invited the Kazakhstan National Almaty Ballet School\u00a0to give a special performance right here at Waseda University.<br \/>\nAlso performing at the event will be Hanayagi Yoshijiro VI,\u00a0a 22 year old e-school student at the Faculty of Human Sciences and\u00a0a member of the Hanayagi School of Japanese Dance who has performed\u00a0at the National Theater and the Kabuki-za theater in Tokyo.<\/p>\n<p>This is a wonderful opportunity to see the most promising dancers of\u00a0tomorrow up close.
