I personally wanted a workplace where I can learn both conversational and business Japanese while using English when necessary. I have been studying Japanese for a year, but I have reached a plateau in taking my skills beyond daily conversations.<\/p>\n
The ICC, with the support of senior SSLs, is the perfect environment to learn practical office work and business\/professional Japanese while using English as a bridge when necessary.<\/p>\n
Besides that, I had times when I felt lost and isolated while studying abroad. I would like to take this chance to cultivate an environment where international students who find themselves lost feel supported and get the help they need. I look forward to connecting to people from every corner of the world.<\/p>\n

Frankly, I have only been working for a week so it is too early to tell. However, everyone in the ICC is highly supportive and they always guide me with a smile. The positive and productive atmosphere demonstrates that the SSLs are very serious about planning and running events for both Japanese and international students.<\/p>\n
I haven’t had a chance to plan an event myself, but the idea that I can turn my passion and interests into actual events is appealing to me. Seeing both participants and the staff enjoying the event that I planned would be very rewarding to me.<\/p>\n
Also, I don’t need to take a subway for an hour to get to work. It only takes me 2 minutes by walk.<\/p>\n
