Have you ever caught yourself making assumptions based solely on someone\u2019s nationality or background?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s ICC No Border Camp centers on the theme \u201cNo Borders \u00d7 Self-Discovery.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By keeping participants\u2019 background information\u2014such as hometown, real name, school, and year\u2014completely anonymous, you can break free from the unconscious biases we all carry and take this opportunity to truly connect with others\u2014and rediscover yourself.\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Under ICC\u2019s original \u201cNo Border Rules\u201d (listed below), participants will interview each other and create articles together. Through a variety of activities, you will explore one another\u2019s values and perspectives, gaining new insights into your own identity along the way.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our differences in values are like puzzle pieces of different colors and shapes. Some pieces of your own puzzle may be hard to recognize alone, but when you engage with others and their pieces, the outline gradually becomes clearer.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Self-discovery isn\u2019t always easy on your own. That is exactly why we invite you to step into a borderless space of connection\u2014to meet others, and in doing so, meet a version of yourself you haven\u2019t yet discovered.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
