While significant improvements have been seen in South Asia and Latin America, the crisis continues to expand in Africa and West Asia. Food enriches our daily lives, yet it also presents many challenges we must confront.

However, how many people have actually considered this problem? In Japan today, that number is probably quite limited. Accurately recognizing and thinking critically about a problem that feels distant is not easy.

This event will not only provide an overview of the current global food crisis but also introduce sustainable food as a promising solution. Participants will experience insect-based foods firsthand, engage in group work, and have the chance to ask candid questions about the increasingly discussed topic of cultured meat!

Why not enjoy the event while also taking this opportunity to seriously confront the food crisis?

Sign up now!

Guest

Eriko Hibi (Online Presentation)
Director of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Liaison Office in Japan
Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Liaison Office in Japan was established in Yokohama in 1997 to strengthen cooperation with Japan.
