Anime: Where Cultures Meet and Dreams Begin.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Many people have been inspired by anime to learn Japanese and even pursue their dreams in Japan.<\/p>\n

In this ICC Talk Session, we welcome Seira Liu, a voice actress from China who turned her love of anime into a career, to share her story and talk with participants about culture, identity, and self-expression<\/strong> through anime.<\/p>\n

The passion for anime connects people beyond borders and languages.<\/p>\n

In the first half, Seira will talk about how she discovered anime, overcame cultural differences, and built her path as a voice actress in Japan.<\/p>\n

In the second half, participants can join a mini voice acting session<\/strong>\u2014read lines aloud, receive tips from Seira, and experience the joy of expressing yourself through voice!<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll also have the chance to chat about<\/strong> your favorite works and share your thoughts with other anime fans.

Ms. Seira Liu<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Born in Beijing, China. Bilingual voice actress and manga artist.
\nAfter studying Japanese at Beijing Foreign Studies University, Seira came to Japan and became the first bilingual voice actress active in both Japanese and Chinese.
\nIn addition to appearing on the NHK Radio program \u201cEveryday Chinese\uff08\u300c\u307e\u3044\u306b\u3061\u4e2d\u56fd\u8a9e\u300d\uff09,\u201d she also publishes the comic strip \u201cDokodemo Liu Laoshi\uff08\u3069\u3053\u3067\u3082\u30ea\u30e5\u30fc\u30ed\u30fc\u30b7\uff09\u201d in the program\u2019s official textbook.
\nHer works include \u201cTeach Me, Liu Laoshi! A Bilingual Voice Actress\u2019s Everyday Life\uff08\u300c\u6559\u3048\u3066\u5289\u8001\u5e2b\uff01\uff12\u30ab\u56fd\u8a9e\u58f0\u512a\u306e\u65e5\u5e38\u300d\uff09\u201d (Shueisha) and \u201cA Chinese Girl Becomes a Voice Actress in Japan\uff08\u300c\u4e2d\u56fd\u5c11\u5973\u3001\u65e5\u672c\u3067\u58f0\u512a\u306b\u306a\u308b\u3002\u300d\uff09\u201d (Bunkasha)<\/p>\n
