Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School Visit (2024\/6)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Do you like telling others about your culture?<br \/>\nAre you interested in visiting a Japanese high school?<\/p>\n<p>Sign up to do both and also encourage high school students who wish to go explore the world!<\/p>\n<p>Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School is a co-educational public high school established in 1989, the first high school in Tokyo which dedicated its whole curriculum to international understanding. It was founded \u201cto develop a well-balanced international mindset, maturity, and the ability to reason in its students so that they can be respected and trusted in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The class you will be teaching, Inquiry-Based Cross-Cultural Understanding, is one of their special courses. And you will create a plan and materials and teach a lesson!<\/p>\n<p>Help <em>Kokusai<\/em> (\u201cinternational\u201d in Japanese) students, known to be lively and unique, develop a global mindset, while broadening your mind as well! Don\u2019t miss this rare opportunity!<\/p>\n<h4>What is the Inquiry-Based Cross-Cultural Understanding class about?<\/h4>\n<p>This course for the 3rd-year students (17-18 year-olds) is intended to foster understanding and respect for different countries, races, cultures and traditions.
