The reason I signed up for this was because I wanted to do some sightseeing while hiking, plus I could get to meet new people!\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW217846056 BCX8\"> Also, it was a perfect place to take my camera. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW217846056 BCX8\">The whole journey started great and ended up being a fulfilling experience. I took a direct train to <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW217846056 BCX8\">the M<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW217846056 BCX8\">t. Takao station. They were pretty nice and some of them were from <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\">the <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\">Waseda campus in Saitama. Then we were separated by groups of 4 to 5 <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\">people<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\"> and they gave us name<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\">ta<\/span><\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\">g<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\">s. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\">My groups <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\">were<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\"> group #1 and #2, so we were 9 people in total.<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\">We had to decide as a team <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\">to walk<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\"> all the way up or <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\">use the<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW46947495 BCX8\"> cable car. And yes, we went for the \u201cfeel like dying\u201d option. I saw a faraway Fuji. Once finished, we went back through another route which was a good decision as we got to see a Totoro decoration and a <span class=\"TextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\">t<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\">anuki<\/span> <\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\">(racoon dog)<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\">.<\/span> <span class=\"ContextualSpellingAndGrammarError SCXW229564839 BCX8\">However<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\"> I th<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\">ink that it was actually an <\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW229564839 BCX8\">a<\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW229564839 BCX8\">naguma<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\">(badger) <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\">as later I saw a sign and the shape was more like an <\/span><span class=\"SpellingError SCXW229564839 BCX8\">anaguma<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\">.<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\">I guess I\u2019ll never know. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\">We also crossed a bridge. It was like a jungle movie.<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\">Going down,<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW229564839 BCX8\"> we decided to take a cable car as we were so tired. In the train back home, most of us were so tired that we were sleeping.
