Have you ever heard of the term “Diversity and Inclusion”?<\/p>\n

\u201cD&I\u201d is a term that expresses the importance of accepting diverse human resources (diversity) and utilizing them (inclusion) in organizations and groups.<\/p>\n

You may be thinking, “I understand that it is important to embrace diversity, but what exactly do I need to do?”<\/p>\n

At this event, we will invite Ms. Ayako Hayashi, who is in charge of social impact at Starbucks Coffee Japan K.K., as a guest speaker to talk about Starbucks’s mission and specific initiatives.<\/p>\n

We will also invite partners (employees working at Starbucks Coffee shops) to share their experiences of working at Starbucks and episodes related to diversity.<\/p>\n

It may seem like a difficult topic to talk about, but when you think that Starbucks is doing it, doesn’t it seem a little more familiar?<\/p>\n

Whether you are interested in learning more about D&I, Starbucks’ initiatives, or even if you have never given diversity much thought, this is a great opportunity to learn together!<\/p>\n
