Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School was founded \u201cto develop a well-balanced international mindset, maturity, and the ability to reason in its students so that they can be respected and trusted in the world.\u201d The class you will be teaching, Cross Cultural Understanding, is one of their special courses.<\/p>\n

Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School is a co-educational public high school established in 1989, the first high school in Tokyo which dedicated its whole curriculum to international understanding.<\/p>\n
This course for the 3rd-year students (17-18 year-olds) is intended to foster understanding and respect for different countries, races, cultures and traditions. The class aims to promote a deep sense of humanity and to broaden the minds of students who share a desire to participate actively in international society.<\/p>\n
