Do you want to meet new people? Do you want to help people learn your native language?<\/p>\n

Then register to be an ICC language event supporter and share your language with your fellow students!<\/p>\n

This is a great chance to make new contacts on campus and connect with others who can speak your language. Whether you help out every week, every month or even just once a semester, is up to you!<\/p>\n

ICC Language Lunches <\/span><\/h2>\n

*Lunch Supporters must be Advanced-level speakers or above<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Chat in your language during lunchtime (12:20-13:15).
\n<\/span>No preparation required! Just enjoy casual chatting!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Each lunch event has a pre-meeting for supporters at 12:00, and the event is from 12:20-13:15. If you have class 2nd period, just let us know ahead of time, and you can join after your class.<\/span> If you have class 3rd period, you are free to<\/span> leave at 12:50.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Coronavirus Precautions\u00a0for In-Person Events<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u30fbPlease\u00a0read the ICC Covid policies<\/a>\u00a0before joining an in-person event.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u30fbEating during <\/span>in-<\/span>person<\/span> event<\/span>s<\/span> is not permitted currently. Please eat before or after the event.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ICC English Chat Club\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

*ECC Supporters must be fluent or native English speakers<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

ECC is a weekly club-style event where participants can chat in English for about an hour.<\/p>\n

Supporters will lead games and generally facilitate conversation in a small group.<\/p>\n

ICC staff will explain the activities at the orientation, and don’t worry, Japanese skills are not required!<\/p>\n

Non-native speakers fluent in English are also welcome to sign up!<\/p>\n

Help others practice and make new English-speaking friends!<\/p>\n
