Have you ever been to Poland? Culture from the West and the East are fused in this Central European country, which is also known for its racial tolerance from ancient times. Thanks to its diversity, Poland has given birth to magnificent culture and beautiful traditions.<\/p>\n

For example, nearly all kinds of European architecture can be seen in Poland, so it is a visual banquet for architecture lovers. And there is a great variety of food as well. \u00a0On top of that, Poland also has given the world many famous musicians, artists and scientists. In classical music, we have Chopin; in astronomy we have Copernicus, Conrad in literature, and Madame Curie in science, the first woman to win a Nobel Prize.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Polish history has been a cycle of prosperity and war. Although it once even disappeared from the world map, Poland has preserved the largest castle in the world, Malbork Castle. In addition, there is also a myriad of valuable historical sites still drawing breath today, like a restaurant that opened back in the 13th century and is still in business today.<\/p>\n

Seize this opportunity to feel the splendor of Poland at ICC\u2019s Polish Culture Night! The Polish Institute in Tokyo<\/a> is a sponsor to help us bring the country\u2019s many charms. After the presentations,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>you can watch Polish traditional dance<\/span><\/span>. Then we will have a quiz time so you can know more about the country! After that, a live performance by violin and piano will show you the greatness of Polish classical music!<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>In addition, Polish native students are also joining in, ready to meet you and to share with you! Began performing in her high school days, earning runner-up honors in the high school division at the 2004 Kamakura Music Concours. She pursued an interest in music therapy to Waseda University, joining the Waseda\u00a0Symphony Orchestra. As a student, she toured Europe with the orchestra, receiving media attention inside and outside Japan, and the Berlin performance was published by Universal Music. She currently performs around Japan with the orchestra led by Kenichi Kobayashi, and is involved in chamber music, the Tokyo International Film Festival, and as a recording session musician.<\/p>\n

    3. Please take strict care of your health from 2 weeks before the event right through to the end (regularly check your temperature and be aware of any other symptoms). We also ask that you avoid the 3 Cs (crowds, confined spaces and close contact situations).\u202f<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. If you have fever, cough or other symptoms during the event, please contact a member of staff immediately and withdraw from the event.\u202f<\/span><\/li>\n
