ICC Outreach Program @Nishi Nakano Elementary School (2021)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m interested in telling people about my culture<br \/>\nI&#8217;m thinkin<span data-contrast=\"auto\">g of teaching after graduation<\/span><br \/>\nI wa<span data-contrast=\"auto\">nt to try a volunteer activity<\/span><br \/>\nI want to make new Japanese friends<br \/>\nI like kids<\/p>\n<p>If this sounds like you, then sign up for the ICC Outreach Program!<span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The ICC Outreach program pairs International students with students from Japan to help foster intercultural understanding in the local community.\u00a0Each pair creates a lesson about the\u00a0international student\u2019s\u00a0culture then presents it at a local Japanese school.<\/p>\n<p>At the orientation ICC will explain details of the program and provide sample materials. If the policy changes, ICC may consult with you about visiting the school in person.<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">*Participation is required at all scheduled times.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In addition, it is necessary to meet several times with your partner in order to plan, prepare and practice the lesson.
