Do you try your hardest in Japanese class but as soon as you leave the room…<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t really have a chance to speak much\u201d
\n\u201cIt’s hard to make Japanese friends\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Do any of these thoughts seem familiar to you?<\/p>\n

If so, then join the popular ICC Japanese Chat Club (aka,\u00a0Pera Pera Club)<\/em>, which is designed to help you communicate in Japanese and enjoy \u201creal\u201d conversation with Japanese students.<\/p>\n

If you find it hard to meet and get to know new people, the “club” style of this program means that you can meet and chat with the same members many times, and get to know each other on a deeper level.<\/p>\n

This semester, in order to allow as many international students to participate as possible we will be continuing the online format.\u00a0You can join and participate from home and even from outside Japan!<\/p>\n

We\u2019re sure there are many international students who have not had the chance to make Japanese friends yet. So all of you, don\u2019t miss this chance–sign up now!<\/p>\n

This is a chance for you not only to practice your Japanese but also to mix with Japanese students and grow your on-campus network even a little so that you will feel more comfortable when you come to campus.<\/p>\n

*This event will be part of the APRU<\/a> co-curricular program (APRU events<\/a>), so students from other schools in the Asia-Pacific region may join as well.<\/p>\n
