ICC\u2019s highly popular \u201cJapan-China-Korea: Speak Your Mind Camp\u201d is back! And this time we\u2019ll be bringing together students in an online event!<\/p>\n

Out of some 8,000 international students at Waseda, about 50 percent are from China and Korea. The three countries have close diplomatic relations and intertwined histories from ancient times. In recent years young people in these nations have lively exchanges centered on pop-culture.<\/p>\n

\u201cClose by but far away,\u201d \u201cI know a little but don\u2019t really understand them….\u201d If that rings true with you, this is a great chance to get to know each other and make friends online.<\/p>\n

ICC student staff are preparing fun activities like talking about typical national stereotypes and a trivia quiz about the countries.<\/p>\n

Soon we\u2019ll be sliding into Spring holidays and a new semester. Let\u2019s meet and share with our neighbors in real time, and make new friends for the new school year coming up!<\/p>\n
