University of Tokyo Assistant Professor Naofumi Abe will speak about marriage in Iran from a historical perspective. Prof., University of Tokyo)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Language<\/strong><br \/>\nJapanese (without English interpreting)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overview<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen compared with family and women\u2019s historical research into territories under Ottoman Empire rule, there has been little research using sharia court documents and other resources to investigate similar issues in Iran under the Qajar Dynasty.
