▶ Ground Rules for Creating a Safer Environment
\nWe may ask those who do not respect the ground rules to leave the event.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- \u00a0You can join and leave anytime during the event.<\/li>\n
- \u00a0Avoid making blanket statements about people.<\/li>\n
- \u00a0Be aware that everyone has their own beliefs and perspectives.<\/li>\n
- \u00a0Avoid making assumptions about other people’s identities.<\/li>\n
- \u00a0Protect the confidentiality of everyone.<\/li>\n
- \u00a0Share only what you feel comfortable.<\/li>\n
- \u00a0Let each other know when you could not hear what someone said.<\/li>\n
- \u00a0Recording the event, including taking photographs and filming, is strictly prohibited.<\/li>\n
- Practice using inclusive language.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
Note on the Post-Event Reflection Report: <\/strong>The GS Center will release an event reflection report, which will include a brief summary of how the event went, and the quotes from the conversations that the visitors and staff members have had at the event.
