I\u2019m Mana. I&#8217;m a JCulP student, studying Japanese culture specializing in English Literature.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m very interested in how coming-of-narratives have represented women\u2019s lives, constructed or deconstructed ideals of girlhood and womanhood, and played a role in the development of feminism.<\/p>\n<p>My subject of study is addressing themes such as gender roles, puberty, sexuality, socializing, romance, marriage, family and considering how some themes are shared across cultures, while other are tied to their cultural contexts.<\/p>\n<p>I like staying at guest houses, reading books and tap dancing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mana Student Staff Hi!
