Even if this is the case, the student can still apply if it is possible to confirm that these names refer to the same person. Student jobs at the University (RA, TA, Research Support Staff, Part-time Temporary Worker, Invigilator, Dispatch Staff, Contractor, etc.) and university scholarships are dealt with in the same manner. However, a separate application may be necessary for external scholarships such as JASSO.
