One of the main reasons why I entered Waseda University was because I was very eager to take part in GLFP; having completed over half of the program so far, I can happily confirm that it has given me a fruitful learning experience. In particular, studying abroad in Chicago has become the highlight of my university years. Of course there were many challenges – the academic rigor, being away from home for the first time, etc. – but I was able to return with a clearer academic goal and a new-found confidence in myself. GLFP has offered me exposure to many eye-opening and thought-provoking topics and experiences, but most importantly, I am very grateful for the supportive and tight-knit community of wonderful fellows. If you are considering to apply for GLFP, I look forward to meeting you and cannot wait for you to join our fun little community!<\/p>\n
