Notify your undergraduate school office and follow its procedures for excused absences. If you are unable to secure an excused absence from your undergraduate school, come to your classroom equipped with a medical certificate or other document certifying the reason for your absence, speak directly to your course instructor, and follow his or her instructions.

Information on tests and course assignments for University-wide Open Courses can be accessed online, through the website of the school offering the course, a course message board, Course N@vi, or some alternative system. Assignments and test information for the courses offered by GEC are usually announced by your instructor. Check with him/her.

Instructors will grant no requests for extensions or do-overs on the grounds of computer failure. Start your assignments earlier, so that you have time to deal with computer trouble or any other unexpected problems that might arise.

The course instructor decides on treatment of an attendance card. Ask your course instructor or Teaching Assistant directly in the next class.In the event that it was last class and cannot tell them at classroom, please inquire from Course N@vi.

Due to privacy concerns, we don’t give out contact information of faculty members. If you need to contact a faculty member, please send a message via Course N@vi. Besides this way, there is a possibility that they post his/her contact information on the Course N@vi or Waseda University Researcher Database.
If you send the inquiry for GEC, we will forward it to that faculty member. But we cannot guarantee to send you his/her answer immediately, because he/she decides whether or not to answer,.

If you wish to inquire about your grade after it has been announced, provide GEC with the following information from Contact form below: course, lecturer’s name, the specific reason for requesting an explanation.
Note that such requests will not be accepted before the announcement of the grade.
