The Waseda University Gender and Sexuality Center (\u201cGS Center\u201d) hosted the WASEDA LGBTQ+ ALLY WEEKS 2024 for two weeks, from November 25 (Monday) to<\/span> December 6 (Friday).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This event was designed to provide <\/span>spaces <\/span>for each LGBTQ+ person affiliated with Waseda University to reconfirm their own power and abilities<\/span> while also giving <\/span>visibility to their allies*.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n It aimed to help make our university a place of security and safety for all persons, regardless of gender or sexual preference.<\/span><\/p>\n The WASEDA LGBTQ+ ALLY WEEKS 2024<\/span> featured various events, including invited special guest talks, workshops, and parades <\/span>across <\/span>all four Waseda University campuses. These activities were planned and <\/span>executed <\/span>by student staff <\/span>from <\/span>the GS Center, with a special emphasis on how allies within the <\/span>university <\/span>can <\/span>demonstrate <\/span>their support.
