As a global university, Waseda University is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE<\/span>&<\/span>I) and realizing an inclusive society in which everyone can express their individuality and demonstrate their abilities regardless of whether they have a disability<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of such efforts, Waseda University Polaris Inc., a special subsidiary<\/span>\uff08\u203b\uff09<\/span> of Waseda University , is promoting coexistence and collaboration with persons with disabilities through employment of persons with disabilities. We are now preparing to hold a \u201ctour\u201d of the facility in order to have as many people as possible understand its outline and current status.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the \u201ctour,\u201d the contents and methods of the tour are being considered so that the process and efforts of staff with disabilities to learn their jobs, the work environment and reasonable accommodations being implemented, the guidance and innovations of support employees, and the nature of employment management can be conveyed to them.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The company is currently making arrangements to begin operations in November, and will announce details as soon as they are finalized. Faculty members and students who are researching disabilities and social welfare, staff members who are considering requesting work from the company, and others who are interested in this tour are asked to contact [Contact information<\/span>].<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
