Through Waseda Vision 150, an institutional initiative to mark the University\u2019s 150th anniversary in 2032, we aim to rapidly improve the quality of education and research and continue to be a University that contributes to the world.<\/p>\n<p>Especially in recent years, we have tackled a number of issues with the aim of further development from the perspective of promoting diversity in education, research, and employment. As part of these efforts, we have applied for the \u201cPRIDE Index\u201d and in the process of application, we have deepened our awareness of the further issues in the future in order to create a comfortable and safe workplace for the LGBTQ community.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue to respect and promote diversity in order to build a fair work environment in which diverse people work together, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>About the PRIDE Index\u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The Pride Index is an evaluation index related to efforts for respecting sexual minorities (such as LGBTQ) in the workplace.
