This is India, but this is not India. The name of the place is Nagaland. Nagaland State is surrounded by mountains, and foreigners entries were limited until some years ago. They inherit distinct culture and tradition, and human-nature relationships remain close and deep, but modernization and globalization force Nagaland to be at a turning point.<\/p>\n
We, 6 students registered \u201cFieldwork on Nature and Culture\u201d supported by GEC (Global Education Center) and Professor Takano Takako had left Japan to Nagaland on August 16th<\/sup>, 2016 to spend 2 weeks.<\/p>\n We are going to share what we saw and thought there, especially concerning sustainability for human society.<\/p>\n Our presentation will be basically in Japanese, but we welcome and make adjustment for people who do not understand the Japanese language.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u3010Date\u3011Sunday, October 2nd<\/sup> from 15:00 p.m. to 17:00 p.m. (Open at 14:45 p.m.) After the presentation session, those who can go out for socializing.<\/p>\n \u3010Venue\u3011Waseda University, Waseda Campus, Building. 22 Ground floor, Seminar Room in Waseda Global Gate<\/p>\n \u3010Fee\u3011Free (a socializing session may cost around 3000 yen.)<\/p>\n \u3010Attendance\u3011Please see the following link to apply.
