Come join the ICC Japanese Culture Week! We’ve got a variety of fun and interesting events to let you experience Japanese culture while meeting new friends on campus.
\nAll events are free of charge and you can register easily online via MyWaseda.
\nCome immerse yourself in Japanese culture!<\/p>\n

Are you looking for a central location to eat your lunch? Want to casually meet new friends during your break time?
\nThere’s no fee or registration required, simply bring along your lunchbox to the ICC Lounge and chat to like-minded students!<\/p>\n

Ikebana Workshop (Sep. 28) -Try your hand at the Japanese art of flower arrangement-<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of arranging flowers for display.
\nFor this Ikebana event, a teacher from the ikebana school- Sogetu School – will give an ikebana demonstration followed by an ikebana workshop, where you can try making your own display.<\/p>\n

After the workshop, you’ll be able to take the flowers with you as souvenirs that you can enjoy in your home!
\nThis is a great chance to see up close the skill of a ikebana teacher and receive instruction from her directly.<\/p>\n

ICC Photo Scavenger Hunt (Sep. 21 & 26) – Discover Waseda and complete missions in your own way with international friends! –<\/h2>\n

Discover Waseda in teams of both Japanese and international students, going around the campus and completing various given missions.
\nMake friends who you can hang out together with for a whole afternoon, or for the rest of your campus life! Prizes given to the winning team!<\/p>\n

Japan Quiz Cafe -Make new friends and find out more about Japan’s attractions-<\/h2>\n

Come along to the ICC and make new friends while trying your hand at a quiz game just like the ones on TV!<\/p>\n

There are many unique and amazing things about Japan that international students and even Japanese students don’t know.
\nHave fun trying to answer questions about trends, food, sights and more of Japan with your group members and enjoy mixing with the other fellow participants!
\nThere will be free drinks & snacks for all participants as well!<\/p>\n
