Universitas\u00a021 (U21) is an international network of 27 leading research-intensive universities founded in 1997.\u00a0Waseda\u00a0University has been a member of Universitas21 Network from Japan and contributing a various U21 activity.<\/span><\/p>\n

U21<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is<\/span>\u202f<\/span>offering<\/span>\u202f<\/span>a free online,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>international internship<\/span>\u202f<\/span>opportunity for students<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>around the world<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>in December 2024, January 2025 or February 2025.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

U21 Sustainable Micro-internships<\/a><\/span>\u00a0allow you to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>work with your fellow<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>students<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>from across the globe, sharing knowledge and expertise whilst<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>immersing<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>yourself in<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>a<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>commercial<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>organisation.\u00a0<\/span>Not only<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>will you<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>form quick partnerships with sustainability-minded students around the world, but<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>you<\/span>\u2019<\/span>ll<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>also<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>challenge your abilities,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>whilst<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>developing<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>key skills<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>enabling you to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>thrive<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>in the modern workplace.<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

This<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>exclusive opportunity<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is only available to students at\u00a0<\/span>U21 member\u00a0universities<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>is open to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>students<\/span>\u202f<\/span>of all disciplines.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout the programme participants\u202fwill engage with and learn from students across the globe spanning 21 countries and 19 time zones.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Over the two-week programme, you will be presented with an ongoing sustainability challenge from your host employer and work in groups to innovate a solution and how to communicate this with senior stakeholders. The internships involve 2 x 2.5 hour live online sessions at the start and end of the 2-week program, with the rest of the project work undertaken flexibly, online around your other commitments.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
