\u201cJiao\u25e6Tong Global Virtual Classroom(Jiao\u25e6Tong GVC)\u201dInitiative encourages Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) faculty to co-create collaborative online international learning courses with peers at universities around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Virtual exchanges foster valuable, sustainable, and accessible international experiences for all SJTU students. SJTU faculty and their international partners jointly build or share undergraduate or postgraduate courses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participant must be a regular student who is enrolled at Waseda University during the Fall 2021 semester and the Spring 2022 semester. For other requirements, please refer to the syllabus.<\/p>\n

    \u3010Important Notes\u3011<\/p>\n

    1. Please make sure to put a high priority on taking courses within your department . When you apply for the course, please ensure that the workload will not interfere with your research or required courses. Request to drop course after your course registration is determined will not be accepted in principle.<\/p>\n

    2. Some of the classes will use textbooks. Please make arrangements to purchase\/borrow textbooks after checking the syllabus for information regarding learning materials.<\/p>\n

    3. It is possible that Shanghai Jiao Tong University will have different holidays and vacation periods than Waseda, so please check the syllabus and contact the relevant professor for scheduling information.<\/p>\n

    4. In order to manage the class, you may be asked to show your face for attendance check or while doing presentation.<\/p>\n

    5. Regarding Credit Transfer policy<\/p>\n

    These classes are not established subjects at Waseda University. Therefore, our Credit Transfer policy for these classes is as follows.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/span>(1)If the participant is enrolled at Waseda University but to whom\u00a0 2)\u00a0 below does not apply: upon successful completion of the class, the participant will receive a grade transcript issued by Shanghai Jiao Tong University; however, no credit transfer will be granted by Waseda.<\/p>\n

    (2)If the participant is in an overseas study abroad program, including at Shanghai Jiao Tong University : upon successful completion of the class, the participant will receive a grade transcript issued by Shanghai Jiao Tong University. However, participants should inquire with the office of their affiliated department about the possibility of credit transfer.<\/p>\n

    6. Participants are prohibited from unauthorized recording, publically sharing, or broadcasting the class content and materials during the class implementation period. In the event that engaging in these prohibited activities results in an intellectual property infringement claim or dispute, the participant concerned will be held legally responsible. <\/span><\/p>\n
