Please feel free to stop by and ask questions. There will also be presentations introducing the programs offered by each partner university!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Introduction to Waseda\u2019s Study Abroad Programs<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Friday, April 19\/Saturday, April 20; Held once a day<\/p>\n<p>There will be a presentation on study abroad in general, such as the characteristics and system of study abroad programs of Waseda University. Especially recommended for freshmen. We will also be having an interactive event between former study abroad students and students who have yet to go study abroad, so it will be a great opportunity for you to give it a lot of thought!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Briefing Session on Long-term Study Abroad Program Application Guidelines<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Friday, April 19\/Saturday, April 20; Held once a day<\/p>\n<p>This is a comprehensive session on application procedures, mainly for students who are thinking of studying in Oceania, South Korea, or South America starting February to March of next year for a duration of one year, and for students who wish to study for one semester starting this summer or fall. It is also for those thinking about studying overseas for a year while enrolled at Waseda University. There will be talks about points to make note of when applying, and loads of information on available scholarships, so if you have even remotely considered studying abroad on a long-term basis, you shouldn\u2019t miss it!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> You won\u2019t need language test scores! Briefing Session of Short\/Medium-Term Programs<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Friday, April 19\/Saturday, April 20; Held once a day<\/p>\n<p>This is for students who want to participate in language focused study abroad during summer holidays, fieldworks, internship-type programs, medium-term one semester language focused study abroad. Many of the programs do not require language proficiency (TOEFL-iBT\u00ae scores or other language requirements to participate), making it easier for you to apply.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Personal Experiences of Study Abroad Student Advisors<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Friday, April 19\/Saturday, April 20; Held once a day<\/p>\n<p>Center for International Education\u2019s volunteer group \u201cStudy Abroad Student Advisors\u201d is a group of students who have experience studying abroad in Waseda University\u2019s programs for one or more semesters. After listening to stories of students who have studied abroad, you are bound to become more familiar with it, and will get a better image of yourself studying overseas!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Seminar on \u201cHow to make the most of study abroad\u201d by an outside firm (Benesse)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Held once on Saturday, April 20<\/p>\n<p>A presentation by Benesse on matters such as \u201cWhy it is necessary to go study abroad\u201d and \u201cHow to make the most of a study abroad experience in one\u2019s career.\u201d There will also be a testimonial by a Waseda University student who studied abroad using the Tobitate! (Leap for Tomorrow) Study Abroad Initiative scholarship.
