\u201cGlobal Youth Leaders Summit 2019: Transforming VISION into ACTION through SOCIAL INNOVATION\u201d will be held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong (13-18 July 2019). Vision for a better community is only as valuable as it is actionable and innovative. The Summit aims to provide a unique platform for youth leaders around the world to exchange experience and ideas, and empower them to realise their vision for a better community. Last year, the Summit attracted over 120 youth leaders from 30 countries and regions. Through inspiring keynotes from world-renowned speakers, workshops, and training sessions, the youth leaders generated cross-border projects during the Summit and actualising them through international partnerships, and transforming their VISION into ACTION.<\/p>\n

\n<\/u>\u30fbYou must have led or organised an existing, or a concluded, social project within the past two years, focusing on poverty alleviation, sustainable community, or quality education for all. The project can be local, regional or international.
\n\u30fbYou must be a full-time undergraduate, or fresh graduate (within two years of graduation) between the ages of 18 and 27 at the time of the Summit in July 2019.
\n\u30fbYou should have sufficient English proficiency to participate in discussions during the Summit.<\/p>\n
\n<\/u>\u30fbSuccessful applicants will be granted a sponsorship to cover their round trip economy flight tickets, visa fee, travel insurance and some necessary local expenses, during and upon completion of the Summit.
\n\u30fb7-night accommodation (12-18 July) and some meals during the Summit will be arranged and covered for successful applicants.
\n\u30fbThe Summit reserves the right to withdraw the sponsorships from successful applicants who are deemed to be in violation of the rules and regulations of the event.
\n\u30fbUnless otherwise specified, other costs that may be incurred due to participating in the Summit should be borne by the successful applicant, such as local transfers to\/from the airport in their home country.
\n\u30fbSuccessful applicants must apply for a visa by themselves, and purchase travel insurance to cover the whole period of the Summit before arriving Hong Kong.
